Abstract

Introduction of three methoxy groups at 5-, 6- and 7-positions of quinoline rings of BQDMEN ( N , N ′-bis(2-quinolylmethyl)- N , N ′-dimethylethylenediamine) affords Cd 2+ -selective fluorescence enhancement.
