Abstract

This paper investigates the distributed attack-resilient secondary control problem for energy storage systems (ESSs) in islanded microgrids (MGs) under false data injection (FDI) attacks. To solve the problem, an iterative observer is initially introduced to estimate the system state and potential FDI attacks. Based on the observer state, a distributed resilient controller is designed to compensate for FDI attacks on secondary controllers while maintaining the consistency of the original system. Compared with existing methods, the proposed observer-based resilient secondary control method can eliminate the steady-state error and can obtain better transient performance. The Lyapunov theory and input-to-state stable (ISS) lemma are introduced to prove the stability and effectiveness of the proposed method for attack elimination at secondary controllers of ESSs. The validity of the proposed control method is proved through MGs systems developed in Matlab/Simulink.
