Scale invariant scotogenic model: CDF-II <mml:math xmlns:mml="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><mml:mi>W</mml:mi></mml:math>-boson mass and the 95 GeV excesses

Abstract

The anomalies observed in the <a:math xmlns:a="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><a:mi>W</a:mi></a:math> mass measurements at the CDF-II experiments and the excesses seen around 95 GeV at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) motivate this work, in which we investigate and constrain the parameter space of the Scale Invariant Scotogenic Model with a Majorana dark matter candidate. The scanned parameters are chosen to be consistent with the dark matter relic density and the observed excesses at <c:math xmlns:c="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><c:mo>∼</c:mo><c:mn>95</c:mn><c:mtext> </c:mtext><c:mtext> </c:mtext><c:mi>GeV</c:mi></c:math> signal strength rates in different channels. We found that significant part of the viable space addresses the excess in the channel <e:math xmlns:e="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><e:mi>γ</e:mi><e:mi>γ</e:mi></e:math>, while a tight part can address the excess in both <g:math xmlns:g="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><g:mi>γ</g:mi><g:mi>γ</g:mi></g:math> and <i:math xmlns:i="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><i:mi>b</i:mi><i:mover accent="true"><i:mi>b</i:mi><i:mo stretchy="false">¯</i:mo></i:mover></i:math> channels. Furthermore, the model’s viable parameters can be probed in both the LHC and future <m:math xmlns:m="http://www.w3.org/1998/Math/MathML" display="inline"><m:msup><m:mi>e</m:mi><m:mo>+</m:mo></m:msup><m:msup><m:mi>e</m:mi><m:mo>−</m:mo></m:msup></m:math> colliders for di-Higgs production.
