Abstract
It is important to maintain the entire primary dentition until the time of replacement, since it can be affected by factors such as dental caries, premature exodontia and trauma, and can influence the physiological, psychological and social development of the child.The poor information that parents have on this subject plays an important role in the development of occlusion and in the dental care of their children.The objective of this work is to investigate the causes and consequences of premature loss of primary teeth.
