Abstract

Eu<sup>3+</sup>and Gd<sup>3+</sup>doping results in the size reduction of β-NaYF<sub>4</sub>: Eu<sup>3+</sup>, Gd<sup>3+</sup>microparticles; Gd<sup>3+</sup>co-doping enhances the luminescence intensity.
