Abstract

Lu-MOFs with formic acid as the sole ligand were synthesized by a formamide hydrolysis reaction. The luminescence color and intensity of Lu–Eu-MOFs-bipy can be controlled by the energy competition and transfer between 4,4′-bipyridine and Eu 3+ .
