Abstract
The utilization of alkylamino-substituted terephthalic ligands is demonstrated as an efficient synthetic strategy towards microporous 8-connected Zr<sup>4+</sup> MOFs, which were proved to be the most efficient sorbents for Se toxic anions ever reported.
