Abstract
resulted in an increased MEM MIC, enlarged and irregular colonies, and decreased biofilm formation ability. These results suggest that YiaD responds to MEM stimulus in A. baumannii and participates in the adaptive resistance of MEM in both carbapenem-sensitive and -resistant strains.
