Abstract

Abstract In this paper we are concerned with a one‐dimensional linear theory of inhomogeneous porous‐thermo‐elastic materials with microtemperatures. The main results contain the global well‐posedness and stability of the system. By using Lumer–Philips theorem, we prove that the system is well posed. By using energy method, we establish exponential decay rate of the system.
