Abstract
A 1D perovskite, (C<sub>5</sub>H<sub>14</sub>N<sub>2</sub>) CuCl<sub>4</sub>, is stabilized as alternative lead-free material for more environmentally friendly solar cells. The absence of magnetic properties results from the cancelation of antiferromagnetic and ferromagnetic contributions.
