• Cutting-edge biomarker discovery, can apply genomics, proteomics and metabolomics technologies to discover novel biomarkers for the early detection and accurate prognosis of oral cancer. • Rigorous validation processes, the novel identified biomarkers brought by genomic technologies should be deeply investigated using rigorous validation methods before they can be considered as the good quality materials. • Clinical application for the exposure to oral cancer treatment field, the novel technologies incorporating biomarkers into clinical practice will radically change early detection, treatment planning and prognostic assessment of oral cancer for increase survival rates and or decrease overall disease burden.
