CPA-catalyzed asymmetric domino thia-Michael/aldol reactions for simultaneous chiral center and axial chirality formation

Abstract
An efficient CPA-catalyzed enantio- and diastereo-selective domino thia-Michael/aldol reaction was developed, leading to a bridged biaryl adduct with multiple stereogenic centers and a thermodynamically controlled stereogenic axis.
