Abstract
Magneto-luminescent studies on Dy +3 complexes of N 6 macrocycles lead to a unique [Dy(L N6prop )(OAc) 2 ](NO 3 )·CHCl 3 luminescent primary thermometer based on 2 thermally coupled levels, which in addition shows field-induced single ion magnet behaviour.
