Abstract
study, we found that DENV-2 and DENV-1 showed different time course patterns of virus replication and inflammation in dermal fibroblasts. We demonstrated that DENV-1 and DNEV-2 and their viral protein NS1 activate the cellular pyroptosis response to regulate virus replication in dermal fibroblasts. This finding suggests that pyroptosis activation in the DENV primary inoculation site plays a role in the establishment of a DENV infection.
