Abstract

Herein, the molecular-scale origins that induce the selective permeation of Li + into UiO-66-(NH 2 ) 2 are revealed. Furthermore, two strategies (polar functional groups and voltage application) were examined to maximize the Li + /Mg 2+ selectivity.
