Solubility Enhancement Technique: A Review

Abstract
The success of a medicine depends on the phenomena of solubility, which is the dissolution of a solid in a liquid phase to produce a uniform molecular dispersion. The drug's solubility becomes one of the most difficult formulation development challenges. The drug's aqueous solubility also affects the drug's physical and chemical properties, dosage, stability in the gastrointestinal tract, the rate of solid dissolution, the rate and extent of absorption, and the achievement of the desired concentration of the drug in the systemic circulation for the desired (anticipated) pharmacological response.Solubilization approaches like chemical modification, which uses solubilizers like soluplus, povacoat, and dendrimers, and physical modification, complexation, and usage of surfactant, which are becoming more popular, must effectively address the useful pharmaceuticals with poor solubility.
