<i>In situ</i> reconfiguration of plasma-engineered copper electrodes towards efficient electrocatalytic hydrogenation

Abstract
Defect engineering of Cu via O 2 -plasma is introduced to accomplish efficient electrocatalytic hydrogenation, in which the in situ reduction of CuO x to defective Cu promotes the kinetics.
