Abstract

Calixarene-based porous polymers and copolymers with surface area of 3000 m 2 g −1 selectively capture CO 2 and CH 4 (DH of 35 and 24 kJ mol −1 , respectively) in specific sites, as revealed by microcalorimetry, breakthrough experiments and HP 129 Xe NMR.
