Abstract
Density functional calculations were performed to elucidate the reaction mechanism and understand the origin of selectivity of photocatalyzed CO2 reduction by a functional-integrated Ru( ii ) complex, [Ru II -(tpy)(pqn)(MeCN)] 2+ .
