Abstract
In the present time of innovation driven society and new strides in the material development domain, polymers and their composites serve as a nerve center of materials for numerous real life applications. Some of the common applications of this novel class of materials are in domains pertaining to automotives, sports, gadgets, airplane, aviation, biomedicine, nanotechnology, etc. The investigation of surface properties of polymeric materials has seen a high importance level mostly due to the fact that their interfacial association plays a very important role in the dependability of underlying parts. This unique issue calls for a thorough examination covering all materials having a polymer (either natural or engineered) as one of their constituents. Examples include polymer composites, polymeric biomaterials, multifunctional polymers, distinctive polymeric materials, etc. Detailed investigation of these original polymeric materials with upgraded surface properties through enhancement of physical or mechanical properties is rapidly growing among researchers worldwide.
