Regulating the Bi NIR luminescence behaviours in fluorine and nitrogen co-doped germanate glasses

Abstract
The structure of the germanate glasses was depolymerized by introducing different types of alkaline earth metal fluorides from MgF<sub>2</sub> to BaF<sub>2</sub>, which resulted in different luminescence behaviours of Bi-related NIR centers.
