Abstract
The authors study a certain class of irrelevant deformations of $(2,2)$ supersymmetric field theories in two dimensions generated by the determinant of the stress-energy tensor. Under certain conditions, they find that the deformed theory is solvable, and it exhibits poles in the physical potential which modify the vacuum structure. This suggests that irrelevant deformations of this type might also affect infrared physics.
