Abstract

A jasmine-flower like CoSe 2 nanoplates termed as MOF-D CoSe 2 has been successfully derived from a cobalt MOF precursor, namely, ([Co 3 (tiron-bpy)2(bpy)(H 2 O) 8 ]·(H 2 O) 2 ) and tested as a bifunctional electrocatalyst in both acidic and alkaline media.
