Abstract
: Powder metallurgy was used to produce hybrid self-lubricating nickel composites containing a different content of MoS 2 /WS 2 and CaF 2 /BaF 2 . The wear properties of the hybrid self-lubricating composites were investigated in temperatures up to 600°C. During the wear process, the samples were coated with a tribofilm, which caused a decrease in the coefficient of friction and improved the tribological properties of the samples. The properties of the tribofilm depended on the content of the high-and moderate-temperature solid lubricant. The presence of the tribofilm caused an improvement in the tribological properties of the samples and it was confirmed by the EDS and XPS techniques. The tribofilm protected the friction pair against oxidation wear, which was clearly seen during the investigation of the third body.
