Abstract
The modes of braking control of small satellite (SS) cubesat type using inflatable aerodynamic decelerator (IAD) are discussed in the paper. The project-ballistic analysis is carried out to determine the trajectory parameters of the motion of SS using inflatable thin-film shells at the orbital trajectory before entering the atmosphere. A study of influence of perturbing factors acting on SS with IAD, including variations in density of the atmosphere taking into account the levels of solar activity is considered. Analysis of possible control modes for braking of SS by using two-stage control law is carried out.
