Abstract
Plasmodium ovale spp. has the ability to cause relapse, defined as recurring asexual parasitemia originating from liver-dormant forms. Whole-genome sequencing (WGS) data are of importance to identify putative molecular markers associated with relapse or other virulence mechanisms.
