Abstract

This work presents an efficient route for upgrading corncob to furfuryl alcohol using a novel silica-supported SO 4 2− -TiO 2 catalyst and recyclable magnetic hydrogel beads containing recombinant E. coli whole-cells in a sustainable approach.
