Investigation into the effects of SiO<sub>2</sub>/TiO<sub>2</sub> nanolayer on the thermal performance of solar box type cooker

Abstract
The current study presents an experimental analysis of a stepped solar box type cooker (SSBC) using energetic SiO2/TiO2 nanoparticles focused on the different ratios of 5% to 25% with coating on the bar plate to enhance thermal performance. The important parameters of the system have been enhanced due to better absorption of solar rays. It depends on bar plate performances because it increases the temperature and reduces the cooking time. The experimental study was depicted the solar box cooker’s system, which uses a modified system with improved temperature. The inner moist air temperature generated through the bar plate is associated with the absorption frequency, which increased the furious SiO2/TiO2 nanoparticles’ temperature. Optimized energetic SiO2/TiO2 nanoparticles increased by the average absorption bar plate temperature, which is focused on the ratio of 15% and improved overall thermal efficiency of 31.42% of the system. Compared to other doping nanoparticles used for solar thermal applications to show the increases in the performances. The coated SiO2/TiO2 nanoparticles of SSBC have been increased of 31.77%, 37.69%, 49.21%, 36.99% and 34.66% for 5%,10%,15%,20%,25% individually and compared to that of single nanoparticles (SiO2, TiO2), convention cooker.
