Abstract

A blue-light excitable near-infrared (NIR) MgGa 2 (O,F) 4 :Cr 3+ ,Ni 2+ phosphor is developed, which exhibits an ultrabroad NIR emission from 700 to 1500 nm and an internal quantum efficiency of up to 83.3%.
