Abstract
This paper reports the first carbonate-nitrate chloride, Na 3 Rb 6 (CO 3 ) 3 (NO 3 ) 2 Cl·(H 2 O) 6 , with two types of π-conjugated anionic groups, which has been characterized as a new UV birefringent crystal with large birefringence and a short UV cut-off edge.
