Abstract
Vehicle Document Verification System (VDVS) is crucial for any vehicle as it certifies ownership. Currently, there are numerous ways to forge the original vehicle documents or produce fabricated ones. Sadly, the use of traditional methods of verifying documents is highly inefficient due to their high cost, the time they take, and inaccuracy. In the work presented, an algorithm that utilizes blockchain technology for vehicle verification has been devised. Our proposed solution has two steps. The first is the assurance of vehicle documents, in which case the document is created for the originating owner as well as for the issuing authority. Moreover, the document is transmitted and processed electronically in a sequential manner through the relevant departments. For this objective, we have implemented the multi-signing approach using G-DSA. Upon completion of the consensus process, the document proving the ownership of the vehicle is issued to the owner in electronic form. The second step is the verification process. This time, the user after some period wants to validate the document, and our system is aimed to help the user establish whether the vehicle documents are genuine or not. Vehicle document verification system is very reliable, effective and efficient for combatting the origination of fake documents. Our propose model meets all the necessary modification for modern vehicle documents verification system. The documents of the vehicle can be verified easily from any part of the world using block chain enabled system.
