Abstract
Abstract FFF (Fused Filament Fabrication) prototyping method is mostly used in the fabrication of 3D complex geometric shapes. Layer by layer deposition technology offers a wide range of shapes for plastic parts. The mechanical characteristics of the manufactured parts depends on the plastic material used and the FFF printing parameters. The studies conducted in this paper show the influence of the FFF parameters on the tensile properties of ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene). The results indicate a considerable effect of infill percentage on tensile properties.
