Abstract

Achieving circularly polarized luminescence (CPL) with room-temperature phosphorescence (RTP) is a significant but challenging issue. Here, a simple method for preparing circularly polarized phosphorescent (CPP) materials is adopted through the chiral coordination assembly. One enantiomeric pair of chiral coordination polymers (DCF-13 and LCF-13) is synthesized by introducing a phosphorescent linker. DCF-13 and LCF-13 with RTP lifetimes of 132.45 and 137.36 ms can emit CPP with g lum values of −5.0 × 10 –3 and +5.0 × 10 –3 at 450 nm. This work provides a perspective for constructing CPP materials.
