Abstract

In this chapter, the synchronization problem between two coupled hyperbolic neural networks (CHNNs) with delays is studied. A simple but effective impulsive pinning controller strategy is designed to achieve exponentially outer synchronization on two CHNNs. To get rid of strict restrictions on delays, the Lyapunov functional approach, the comparison principle and the average impulsive interval method are used to investigate the outer synchronization problem, and a novel criterion is obtained. Furthermore, an example is presented to show our results are new and satisfactory.
