Abstract

Development of oxygen carriers for a chemical looping water splitting scheme: the Na-β-Al 2 O 3 phase stabilizes Fe 2 O 3 –Fe redox cycles by preventing the formation of inactive FeAl 2 O 4 yielding a high and stable H 2 production.
