Abstract
This paper explains the main cybersecurity problems facing SMG systems and the role of IoT, ML and Blockchain technologies in addressing them. It highlights how IoT, ML, and Blockchain can converge to meet SMG data privacy preservation and cyber-attack protection. Finally, Blockchain, standards and regulations are discussed as open issues and challenges of the perfect fitting of technologies in the SMG cybersecurity.
