Pengembangan Digital Book Berbasis Flip PDF Professional untuk Meningkatkan Kemampuan Literasi Sains Siswa

Abstract
The crisis of scientific literacy is a serious problem for 21 st century learning. Today, technology-based learning is required to improve the quality of learning, one of which is making digital books based on Flip PDF Professional. This study was conducted to determine the level of validity and effectiveness of digital books in an effort to improve students' scientific literacy skills in science subjects. This type of research is Research and Development (R&D) with a 4D research model. This research was carried out in 5 th grade of SDS IT Darul Muta'alimin with research subjects in a limited trial of 5 students and an extensive trial in 5 th A grade, totaling 20 students. The results of the research are: (1) the results of validation by two expert validators on a digital book based on Flip PDF Professional get an average score of 4.7. ( The value of the pretest results showed the average score of students was 50 and the posttest value showed 87, and obtained the N-Gain criteria of 0.74 in the high category. Thus, the digital book product based on Flip PDF Professional that was developed can be used in learning ecosystems in 5 th grade.
