Fabrication of pitch-derived hard carbon <i>via</i> bromination-assisted pyrolysis strategy for sodium-ion batteries

Abstract
The pitch-derived hard carbon anode was fabricated via a bromination modification coupled with a pyrolysis strategy for sodium-ion batteries, exhibiting a high reversible capacity, excellent rate performance and long-term cycling stability.
