Finite-Time Output Synchronization for Fractional-Order Complex Networks With Output or Output Derivative Coupling

Abstract
This paper delves into the finite-time output synchronization (FTOS) for an output coupled fractional-order complex network (OCFOCN) and an output derivative coupled fractional-order complex network (ODCFOCN). Based on the properties of the Gamma function and several crucial lemmas, a FTOS criterion for the OCFOCN is derived by designing an appropriate output- feedback controller. Moreover, a novel adaptive output- feedback controller is also presented to guarantee the FTOS of the OCFOCN. In addition, the FTOS problem for the ODCFOCN is further explored by exploiting output- feedback and adaptive output- feedback control methods. Finally, two numerical examples are utilized to substantiate the effectiveness of the results obtained here.
