Abstract
Depression corresponds to a mood disorder, being two times as prevalent in women than in men, manifesting itself through the following symptoms: depressed mood, fatigue, reduced reasoning, decision-making capacity, and physiological manifestations, such as altered sleep, appetite, and sexual interest, in addition to the manifestation of social withdrawal behavior 7 .
