Abstract

This study proposes a control approach based on a Frequency Locked Loop with Enhanced Second-Order Generalized Integrator (ESOGI-FLL) to mitigate quality of power (PQ) problems in a grid linked photovoltaic (PV) battery scheme. In order to enhance PV power production and charge the battery and pumped into the grid and maintain the constant voltage across DC bus of the voltage source inverter in this study particle swam optimized Adaptive Neuro Fuzzy Inference System (PSO-ANFIS) controlled peak power point extracting methods are employed. This paper utilizes the ESOGI-FLL based control technique to achieve grid current balancing, mitigate harmonics, operate at unity power factor, and accommodate various levels of PV energy generation. Frequency Locked Loop with Enhanced Second Order Generalized Integrator with Based Regulator Algorithm for PV battery integrated system for PQ Improvement are created and tested from MATLAB software. simulation results are tested under various operating situations, such as grid current balancing, Nonlinear load conditions and change irradiance conditions. Additionally, grid voltages and currents are achieved with total harmonic distortions that are under the IEEE power quality standard.
