Abstract

This paper demonstrates the usefulness of application of the heat of electric arc as a heat source for layerby-layer synthesis of volumetric products by using MAG, TIG and PAW cladding methods with powder and compact (solid wire) filler materials. The influence of cladding process parameters on the heat distribution in the deposited metal, the formation of the stress-strain state and the structure of the metal, as well as on the geometric characteristics of the products is determined through computer simulation and experimental research. Technological recommendations for the improvement of stability of the formation of volumetric products are given.
