Abstract
The environmental polymers were created using bio-based plant material as the substrate and powdered mango nuts derived from agricultural residues of mango nuts as the fillers. Cellulose was decomposed in an ecologically acceptable solvent of 8 wt % potassium hydroxide and 12 wt.% urea precooled to 15 °C. TNP was added to the cellulosic liquids in amounts ranging from 10% to 20% by weight. Each solution was equally distributed on glass pieces, and moist aggregates were created utilizing the healing process and an ethanolic clotting solution. The entire wet film is then cured in room-temperature air. The cured composites were subjected to X-ray diffraction, differential thermal, and tensile testing. The composite's ultimate tensile strength and % elongation during break were higher than the matrix's and improved with filler concentration. The substrate had a mechanical property of 123.8 MPa, whereas the biocomposite hybrid with 20 wt. % TNP had a mechanical property of 126.36 MPa (a 12% increase). Although the melting temperature of a combination was lower than that of the cellulosic substrate, all of the hybrids remained stable at 375 °C.
