Abstract
A transparent MgAl<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub> cylindrical ceramic, prepared <italic>via</italic> hot isostatic pressing, was used as a dielectric resonator antenna taking on good performance using the HE<sub>11δ</sub> fundamental modes.
