Abstract
The converter valve and its valve control equipment are the core equipment of the high-voltage DC transmission system. As a valve control device in DC engineering, Valve Base Electronics will inevitably encounter problems such as equipment failure. Valve Base Electronics is a valve control system specially designed by Siemens for its converter valve equipment. Due to the blockade of Valve Base Electronics technology by Siemens, the operation and maintenance unit can only know some interface signals and surface signals of the converter valve for DC input electrode control systems. Failure indication, it is impossible to deeply understand the internal procedures, algorithms and control characteristics of VBE.
