Abstract

Approximately 6 times emission enhancement is achieved by the Eu 2+ to Tb 3+ energy transfer in Ca 8 SrTd(PO 4 ) 7 without concentration quenching and the as-prepared phosphor has been used for near-ultraviolet WLEDs with a high color rendering index.
