Abstract

Osmotic pressure ( Π ) induces membrane tension σ in giant unilamellar vesicles (GUVs), which elevates rate constant k p for antimicrobial peptide magainin 2-induced pore formation in GUVs. The process of its pore evolution in GUVs with σ was revealed.
