On the energy transfer in LiMgPO<sub>4</sub> doped with rare-earth elements

Abstract
The TL and RL signals in LiMgPO 4 :Sm, Gd, Tb, Dy, Tm originate from f–f transitions in rare earth elements, while the rare earths in LiMgPO 4 :Er, Ho, Nd only greatly enhance the signals of the phosphate matrix as a result of energy transfer.
