Abstract
This review summarizes magnetic silver nanocatalysts’ design, applications, and benefits in heterocyclic synthesis, highlighting their high activity, recyclability, and alignment with green chemistry. It covers reactions like cycloadditions, oxidative cyclizations, and multicomponent processes, focusing on recent advances in surface functionalization, nanostructuring, and plasmonic effects from 2010 to 2024. These catalysts offer a sustainable, efficient, and scalable approach for producing heterocyclic compounds, with ongoing research addressing challenges and future opportunities.
