Higgs-mode resonance in third harmonic generation in NbN superconductors: Multiband electron-phonon coupling, impurity scattering, and polarization-angle dependence
Naoto Tsuji, Yusuke Nomura
Abstract
This paper analyzes the resonance of the terahertz third harmonic generation in a multiband disordered superconductor NbN based on first-principles electron-phonon calculations, and shows that the leading contribution for the resonance comes from the Higgs amplitude mode with no polarization-angle dependence in the dirty regime.
